Today i was the whole day i Kaohsiung arena, working for the university with EU representants and other Taiwanese dignitarians. Sooo cool!!! It was because my university is holding a conference between EU and taiwan on the global climate change and they wanted some europeans there so the other foreigners wouldn't be so lonely i guess ;)

I was a bit slow there in the beginning with just walking around, sweating like hell in the suit (yes we had to wear suits!!) After some hours it was time to start the opening ceremony of the conference and the president showed up!

My job for the ceremony was to move away the speakers podium when the president was done so you can from now on call me:

After the the ceremony we went on into the newly built shopping mall next to the arena. In the top of the mall there is a five star hotel having their restaurant service for very distinguished guests. Well people, today i was one of them!

Imagine a big room, marble entrance, floors with new carpet, crystal lamps, fresh large buquets of flowers... seen the titanic movie? It was like the restaurant for the first class passengers.

When we were seated we were served a 8 course meal. (eight!!)
Including:
Crab
Sashimi
Duck
Taiwanese shrimp speciality
Oysters
Rice gratin
Steamed fish
Taiwanese dessert with Oriental fruits
