... but not necessarily new hair style, it feels like everyone in Gothenburg has the same hairstyle. I think it looks nice though and i needed to do something different with my hair. As the hair looks now will probably only be better the longer it grows! (or that is what my hairdresser said) ;)

Ready for a new study week?

Im now back in Gothenburg again after a short and intensive weekend at home with the parents.

Im so sorry for not blogging more often this week, I have simply been so busy with the thesis and when not working I have more or less been sleeping... or well that is not true :P Its hard to find inspiration to work sometimes because we had some issues finding our research questions and what to focus on. So when I have not been inspired or had the disciplin to work i have fled to the gym, taken a nap or been sitting on skype.

It feels like we are coming somewhere now at least!

This weekend was anyway the first time of the year I went out for a tour with the horse! It was so nice to sit up in the sadle again, i ride way too seldom since im not home so much anymore. And also our horse is getting old! Poor Amalia... :)

This quote very much describes this madnessly wonderful afternoon I had today with Bob. Too much fresh air and sun made our brains high I guess...! We met at our regular cafe in gothenburg to get some work done, unfourtunately i had forgotten my USB-monkey at home so I did not have so very much to add to our thesis... :P

We did some business and then went out for a walk in sunny sunny G-town, lovely day and i hope I gained loads of vitamines from the sun on my extremely pale skin. But as Bob said, white is the colour of the season! ;)

Me and Bob is in library today again. The thesis really brings back some memories... i dont know how sweet they are though! People say it's friday today, to me it could just as well be monday!

The thesis working student's life is constantly mondays since the work never seem to get finished!

I have a good feeling today though, this is a good friday-monday! ;)

In the new course in school we are studying sustainable marketing. Today we had a gust lecturer who talked about our view on marketing that it is like a war and marketing is the weapon the companies are using make them buy their products.

I mean it is really true! Just when I think about all the terms and theories I have learned through the years and then when I looked up even more theories on internet I came up with these:

- Guerilla marketing
- Penetration strategy
- Positioning
- Ambush marketing
- Nano campaigning
- Undercover marketing

Its like the company is a secret agent going into the crowd to scatter them and kill the weak!!

Let's meet in Paris!

So now it is finally booked, my eurotrip that will take me from Gothenburg, through Germany, to Paris, back to Germany and then home again. I am so excited!! Can't wait to go meet the spring on the contient, Sweden is after all more or less part of the arctic :P

It was lot of work to find the tickets and it took all my planing skills to find the right airports, flight companies, train stations and dates. I do now know that it is more or less impossible to fly from Paris to Sweden without emptying your bank account... I have to fly with ryanair from Gothenburg to Düsseldorf and then take a train from Cologne
to Paris. To get home I will take a train back to Germany and fly home from Frankfurt. Lol, Eurotrip indeed!


What is even more fun is that I will be able to catch up with so many good friends on my trip! So to all of you in Paris and nearby;

Vous avez intérêt de venir me voir! ;)

I have already been to France and Germany really but only at the very border in Germany and in Cannes in France, so excited to see the real stuff down there! Who knows, maybe I'll stay forever?

Study and sushi

Good combination eeh?

I've heard somewhere that fish is good for your health and your brain, what can then be better than eating sushi in the lunch break?!

I love sushi and I'm so happy that it is the cheapest "fast-food" in Gothenburg, I probably eat it even more here in Sweden than i did in taiwan... On the other hand i ate some sushi triangles every morning but it was so sweet and i have never seen it here in sweden so it was probably some crazy make up from the taiwanese :)


Me and Bob has been in the library all day, and there we will remain the rest of the week! ;(

My brand new camera and I

Oh joy to the world! Yesterday my parents and I went to the bi town to buy me a new camera, the old one is really dead... The clerk in the store had no idea why it could make such a weird noice (i think i have a clue though, many times drop in the floor, rain forrest humidity, sand, salt water and finally swedish cold simply was too much for it...). Poor thing, well there is no reason to hold on to old stuff right?

Out with the old and in with the new! I had no idea what to buy, just what i wanted with the new camera. So I ended up buying this one:


A pentax Optio L70

I had never heard of the brand before but mom and dad told me that its a really famous brand but that they usually only do big and heavy professional cameras. So it'd better be a good one then right?! I didn't even try it in the store but yesterday and today I tested it thoroughly. And what can I say.. I am truly amazed!!

So the plans has finally been realized. I booked my ticket to go to visit Mr M in Germany the 28 of april and after that I will go to Paris to visit our thesis company!

im so glad that me and Bob finally got stopped just planning to go to France but actually did it! She is gonna go to Netherlands to see some friends there when im in Germany. The best thing with the deal is that it is so cheap!

Ryanair flies from Gothenburg to Düsseldorf and from there i will take the train to Cologne and then Siegen. From Cologne there later a train directly to Paris for only 29 euro!



Reunion coming up!

We still have one problem though... From Paris it is impossible to go back to Sweden without pating waaay too much! Why oh why?! The cheapest way that i have found right now is to take train back to Cologne, then to Copenhagen and then Gothenburg. A trip that takes about 24 hours with all the stops included... At least me and Bob have loads of time together then...

hej hej hello, im back again. i guess i have turned into a weekly blogger instead of a daily one. So sad.

but right now there is nothing going on anyway. It is exam week and exam is within two days!! And i am not nearly done yet, shit...

Well i am at least very focused.Today i went to school at 8 in the morning which led to the fact that i had to wait outside the library for ten minutes before it opened! I think i can count on one hand how many times i have done that in my life.

There is still loads to study so i think that i'd better get started.

My camera is still dead, i guess i have to buy a new one. Unfourtunately i have to many abroad plans right now to afford it. I think i am gonna book most of it today! :D i will tell you more about that later...

Right now i just know that i have a looong day ahead of me with loads of book reading and computer writing. 
and that i miss taiwan... soooo much!

Summer has already arrived there, 30 degrees and sun in Kaohsiung every day..

Just back from the gym. I've started drinking protein shakes again. Something that Mr M convinced me to start drinking back in Växjö last semester. I think it's working actually and i think the idea to drink extra protein makes sense...

And it taste soo good!

I fit into my skinny jeans again!!

I finally dared to do it today. I have been looking with one eye on my old skinny jeans for some days now without daring to try them on. I brought them to Taiwan but in the beginning of the semester it was just too hot to wear them so i left them in the closet. When it started getting colder i tried them on, just to realize that i couldnt even get them over my ass!

I have never been so chocked... now i know how it feels to gain weight, before i have only lost weight and i must say that it is a much more welcome feeling!


As you can see there are some love handles to get rid of still...  beware you are next!!


It was so sad when i was in taiwan and suddenly realized that i had gained so much weight. As i have said here on the blog before, every european that goes to Asia gain weight. I guess we are not used to the food but in my case it was because i didnt exercise at all! I simply took the scooter everywhere...

This picture shows the best shape I have had this far i think. Its from the end of august 2009, right before Hong Kong. I exercised one hour, six days a week, three months during the summer. Im aiming for an even better body this year because now i know how to do it!

Oops, I did it again

Yes, i am not the best blogger anymore. Many people has been asking me why I dont update anymore and well the thing is complicated.

On the one hand I have loads to share and I have loads of stuff that is taking place in my life. I do after all live in a new city, places to explore, people i meet and situations on the tram (yes these trams could fill a whole own blog of weird coinsidences!). 

On the other hand most of the stuff that is going on is in the more implicit way which means that they are only going on in my head... I have loads of plans but none of them are clear really and that is why i dont feel its much important to put them up here in cyber space.

On the third hand there is mostly boring stuff going on in my life right now, I go to the gym, I cook, I study in front of my laptop and i go to sleep way to early due to boredom.

On the fourth hand I spend loads of time on skype... Some few chosen ones knows why ;) 

So once again i promise that i will get back on track again and blog more, i will try to share more with you few readers that i still have. One other thing that is making me push this blogging in front of me is because today my camera collapsed!! Hopefully i will get it working again, I mean it survived sand, several hard falls in the ground, salt water and 15 000 pictures later. It had a good life anyway...

Skiing

So I finally got my yearly time of skiing in the snow. Even though it was three weeks ago now! Sorry for not updating...  

It was a short slope, freezing cold and I had no one to ski with but it was fun anyway. I couldn’t stop thinking about my time in the Austrian Alps last year. The slopes and the view there are just amazing! I went skiing at a small place in my region. My region is not really known for skiing, more for the deep forest! When the sun started to set and it were no clouds in the sky I could not help being amazed of how beautiful the snow is. It glimmered from the hill top in many colours and shimmered in white from the moonlight. I have never experience this much snow. Whole cities are covered in mountains of snow; every road has a meter high wall protecting them and it just keep on coming more snow! The whole society seems to fall apart… how lovely isn’t it? :P

I have loads to do now. Or well, not more than i had one week ago but its just that the deadlines are coming closer... I'm off to see Bob now at the café we went to last week. They had free wireless there so today we are gonna try if it works!

I'm still home in my big house on the country side. It has started snowing again and i dont want to get stuck in a train or even worse.. in some trainstation! Last time i got stuck in a train station there was a crazy lady running around shouting in everybody's faces. Not very nice

Tomorrow on the other hand their will be sun shining all over sweden. Its gonna be a nice change. Outside there is also plus degrees so I can almost feel the spring coming! It's still a bit hard to see it though, too much snow here on the country side. :P

Im so jealous on my friends that are still in Kaohsiung, the sun is shining there as always and its already 30 degrees. If i wasnt so happy for their sake i would build a cottage of blankets and pillows and sit under there until its warm outside again. (yes i do build cottages occasionaly...)

I cant believe its only one month since i was there in the heat as well!
